Training SessionsTraining is run in accordance with a school year, with 4 terms. Each week there are both individual and team training sessions, for beginners to advanced vaulters.
Team training is every Saturday morning during school terms, and individual sessions are scheduled throughout the week. Each training session will incorporate a warm up and stretches, and a combination of gymnastic skill building on the ground as well as a vaulting barrel, and these skills are then applied on the horse. Working as a team, each vaulter is required to help get the horses ready for training, and this can include cleaning stables, tacking and untacking, and feeding. |
